Time flies: it seems that while we weren’t looking Growfunding has already turned five! In the past five years, we have joined hands with thousands of people to build up Brussels from the bottom up.

That means it’s high time for a celebration, but also to see if we’re doing things right. On Friday the 19th and Saturday the 20th of January we’re occupying the Beursschouwburg with the ‘Growfunding/Bazaar’: a two-day festival with a conference, debates, an ‘empty shop’, a fashion show by Tony Bland, a dance performance by The Slayers, concerts by Nawaris, Arumbo and Fanfakids, Dj sets from Phonetics and Le motel on the 54Sound, and much more.

We don’t believe in fix tickets prices. Selling tickets always creates a social threshold. That’s why we apply, where possible, the “free-donation-principle” philosophy to most of the events organised during the Growfunding / Bazaar. All the collected revenue will go the Growfunding-projects: Sommos,  Cooking with Abu, Babythek, JhMj DAR, …

For some events tickets will be sold via the Beursschouwburg. In order to make those events accessible to all, 20 % of the tickets will be distributed through our social partners: Cinemaximiliaan, Globe Aroma, Hobo, …
